About Redbird Smith Health Center
This facility was the first Indian health clinic to be constructed \"from the ground up\" under Cherokee Nation management. Located on five acres at the edge of Sallisaw city limits, The floor space at this clinic is 21,945 square feet. In 2007 the Annex Building was added to the existing site. This new building is 11,444 sq. ft and is built to increase the capacity of the current health center. All services that are not imperatively connected to the clinic have been moved into the new facility. There were 71,960 outpatient visits in FY09.
Scope of Service:
The clinic provides Medical, Dental, Optometry, Radiology, Behavioral Health, Public Health Nursing, Health Promotion Disease Prevention, Pharmacy with mail order, Laboratory, Nutrition, WIC and Contract Care.
Hours of Operation:
Clinic: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Dental: Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
